Fundamental Aquatic Skills class is for children ages 5 to 12 years.The objective of this instruction is to give students an opportunity to succeed while they learn fundamental aquatic skills. Students learn to float and recover without support, practice simultaneous and alternating arm and leg actions on their front and back. This exercise will help build a solid foundation that will allow the students to learn additional strokes in the future. Rotary breathing and treading water are also introduced.
Participants may request refunds for programs up to three (3) business days before the program's first meeting.
A $5 administration fee will be charged against your refunds for cancellations, including those due to medical problems, to cover clerical and administrative costs. There are no administrative fees charged when a program is cancelled.
Due to COVID-19 gurideliness, a parent or guardian is required to be in the pool to assist their child in Swim 101, 102, & 103 classes at all times.
Participants in 104 class must be able to swim backstroke and front crawl a distance of 50 yards.
Participants in 105 class must be able to swim backstroke, front crawl and breaststroke a distance of 50 yards.
