    131996 - Child Care & Babysitting CPR

    This course helps build confidence, self-esteem and skills necessary to care for infants and children on a daily basis and in emergency situations. Participants will learn diapering, feeding, CPR and First Aid. Included is a workbook and completion card. Please bring a sack lunch.

    131997 - CPR & First Aid

    The First Aid course is designed to recognize the signs and symptoms of injuries and sudden illness. Crucial information of how to deal with emergencies like bleeding, shock, burns, etc. This nationally accepted program satisfies the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). In addition to the 2 year certification card, participants will receive handouts for both the CPR & First Aid class.
    **This class does not qualify for any one in the healthcare industry or anyone intending to enroll in nursing or dental school.**

    Homeschool PE is a 90 minute class that allows students to explore many sports in a short time. This program is designed so that students can be ACTIVE and learn about athletics and team sports. Each class begins with a d dynamic warm-up and stretch. We rotate through agility stations and drills. Each unit of study includes sport specific drills and games. Including rules of the game, strategy and the fundamentals required to play. We also enjoy fun classic games like kickball, dodgeball, whiffleball and capture the flag. Sibling discounts available.

    133581 - Dance Arts Center Thursday

    Class Attire:
    Leotard and tights (any color), Preschool: pink leather ballet shoes, and black tap shoes with elastic sewn in holes. Please no skirts or tutus on any dancers. All school age dancers will need beige "Super Jazz Shoes" by Bloch, and lace up black tap shoes.

    Tuition: All tuition is due on the 1st of the month. All tuition is Non-Refundable. Add any second class for only $30 monthly! $5 discount for the second child in the family. All tuition is payable in advance of the first lesson of the month. There is a $25 non-refundable registration fee the first month only.

    All registration fees, recital fees and costumes must be payable to Dance Arts Center.
    Tuition is payable to the City of McKinney.

    Dance Arts Center specializes in tap, ballet, jazz, tumbling and hip hop for children through adults. Private and semi-private lessons are available on Thursdays and Saturdays, September through May. Students may join at any time. Please contact Lou Ann at 214.616.6514 or visit www.danceartscenter.net to learn more about class times, our school and history. All classes are ongoing and the fee is per month for a weekly 45 minute class. (Classes are throughout the day and are for 45 minutes)
